Skills/Experience:

• must have 3+ years of experience selling computer support and managed services
• capable of and comfortable with prospecting for new clients with demonstrated track record
• ability to quickly develop rapport with new prospects and existing clients
• experience selling to small and medium-sized companies in the Charleston Metro area
• skilled at working with business owners and executives
• must be located in the Charleston, SC metro area
• familiarity, and ability to utilize Web 2.0 social networking
• references required

Responsibilities:

• new business development
• target and prospect for new business
• meet with potential and current clients over the phone, via the internet, and in person
• establish new local network ing relationships (e.g. Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce)
• generate and close new revenue for the company

Questions you should be able to answer:

• How do you use the web in your selling activities?
• Be able to explain how you use Web 2.0 tools for personal education, prospecting and account support.
• How would you promote a local event?
• Explain your approach to locating and attracting new prospects.
• Describe your typical sales process.

Recommended Credentials:

• A+ Certified
• Network + Certified
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

Recommended Experience:

• 5+ Years - Active Directory Implementation/ Support (Large Network consisting of more than 50 users)
• 5+ Years - Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server Support
• 5+ Years - Microsoft Exchange Support (2003/2007)
• 5+ Years - LAN/WAN Support/Maintenance
• 5+ Years - Cisco Network Integration and Support
• 5+ Years - Network Design
• 5+ Years - Network Topology/Modeling
• 5+ Years - Linux System Administration (Bulk of experience with RedHat)
• 5+ Years - Disaster Planning/Integration
• 5+ Years - Telecommunications Support (POTS, Network Phone System)
